This Week at the Movies
CAUGHT STEALING is the one not to miss. Darren Aronofsky surprises and delights with this hilariously bleak AFTER HOURS-inspired romp through 90s New York. It’s a little shaggy at times, but it’s a lot of fun - another genuine crowd-pleaser in a year full of ‘em.
For counterculture counter-programming, look no further than the Peter Dinklage-starring TOXIC AVENGER remake, which finally hits theaters after a long and bumpy road.
And if you want counter-counter-programming, THE ROSES continues the romantic comedy revival of the mid-2020s by updating The War of the Roses with aplomb.
50 years ago, the first modern blockbuster hit theaters. You know, you love it, you’ve hopefully seen it… it’s JAWS. And if you’ve never seen it, why not see it in IMAX with a crowd?
