News & Announcements
THE DIRTY DOUBLE, the raunchy, heartfelt dark comedy pilot created by Frankie Campisano and co-written by Samuel Hayden has advanced to place in the Top 10% as a Semi-Finalist in the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards!
As we shared last week, THE DIRTY DOUBLE also recently placed as a Semi-Finalist in the Scriptation Showcase!
Frankie has been working with the wonderful team at Dances With Films, LA’s Favorite Indie Fest Since 1998. Check out the amazing sizzle reel above, by Nate Paul, featuring Frankie talking to filmmakers on the orange carpet!

This Week at the Movies
F1? More like A1. TOP GUN: MAVERICK’s Joseph Kosinski puts his planes away in favor of Formula 1 racing. This is the movie that GRAN TURISMO could’ve been. And now’s as good a time as any to ask where that SPEED RACER 4K release is - we’re waiting!
M3GAN 2.0 (which we’re all pronouncing muh-three-gan two-point-oh, right?) feels far more like a cynical cash grab than a bonafide franchise follow-up, burning the franchise down with no survivors. What started as a fun update on CHILD’S PLAY has become T2: JUDGMENT DAY but something about the tone of the 2.0 campaign has just been… off. Hard to define, exactly, but there’s no charm left in this doll. Time to put this series out to pasture.
SORRY, BABY sounds like what you have to say after you read the reviews for M3GAN 2.0. Sorry, baby. (You say ‘baby’, too?) But in reality, it’s another interesting film from A24 being sent out to die because of a lack of marketing. Happy to see Lucas Hedges back on the big screen, he was really having a moment in the late ‘10s.
